The dark side of the Toyota Prius
Everytime I see a Toyota Prius comes to head the sentence of Jeremy (Top Gear) this video: “a diesel car can do better, much better” (referring to the consumption of 5.2 liters).
According to its review, the Prius is “too expensive, too complex, not excessively”green”, slow and with poor quality finishes”.
In part, I agree. The Prius seems a good attempt to reduce pollution, but is really efficient? At the end, as always in matters of fuel, pollution, economy and efficiency should study it for each case.
Perhaps the driver that uses the car by road usually have a better place to invest than the Prius, see renew home appliances by others of more efficient energy category. However a draw party at the electric motor city rat may be doing a good deed and even pay the surcharge.
All this is by the publication in Jalopnik this video of Top Gear, which already has some time, in which don’t speak too well of the Prius. My opinion is that it will not save the world from pollution, but it is not bad idea or a failure.

40 years after its release to the market, the Corolla name will no longer be associated with the compact Toyota. I do not understand how a brand like Toyota, is determined to do things of this style. And now that that raw material is the retro style and resurrect old glories of the car.
But they are things, after more than 30 million units sold worldwide, one of the classical name of the world automobile, comparable to name such as Mini, beetle, Mustang or party, it will be forgotten.

A round of installation and eleven turns later at 2.23 miles of the Laguna Seca circuit. Ricardo Zonta scored yesterday easily a new record of the track (1: 07 119.206 to 587 miles per hour) in his second round with Toyota F1.

The previous record was Helio Castroneves (1: 07. 722 achieved in the race of Monterrey 2000 CART). Zonta had already driven a Mercedes FIA GT in this circuit in 1998. It was there where he made a name for signing then by BAR Honda.
