German automaker Volkswagen has just launched a special version of its Volkswagen Caravelle, devised especially for the transport of executives and with all the luxuries and amenities that they may need in their journeys by road in United Kingdom.
With the name of Caravelle Business, this Volkswagen T5 with wheels 17 inch and darkened moons is thought to be an Office with wheels and offer its passengers all kinds of facilities to continue with their work while performing transfers between hotels, offices or airports.
With connection to the internet without wires (Wi-Fi) and Bluetooth connectivity, the Caravelle Business is what Volkswagen calls a mobile conference room with enough space for six passengers, four of them on individual seats in the rear travel and benefit from an adjustable table.
Unlike a normal Caravelle, this edition Business boasts a tapestry of Nappa leather, wood insertions, adjustable seats and heated and even a refrigerator integrated between the two seats from the last row. The two central seats, as it is already usual, rotate on themselves to deal with the other two, and the sliding door is electrical to facilitate access to the rear.
The position of leadership, for its part, wears a leather multifunction steering wheel and the driver offers a multitude of aid as the cruise control, satellite navigation with 6.5 inch screen and Assistant, 30 Gb hard disk of lane change, parking sensor or camera rear vision, among other things.
Responsible for propelling this Office on wheels is a 2.0 liter TDI twin 180 HP and 400 Nm of maximum torque combined in series with the DSG automatic transmission. Average consumption is of 8 liters to the hundred and 214 g/km of carbon dioxide. The price for United Kingdom is of 53.856 pounds sterling (about 66,700 euros) or 56.069 pounds (69.500 euros) if equipped with 4Motion four-wheel.
